23 Infeet EX 6101ULRS-ST
I’m looking for a hardbody all-rounder rod for black bream. Am I correct in assuming that the solid fast tip of the 6101ULRS-ST combined with its shorter length is a good option for tip-down jerkbaiting? And apart from being a rod well-suited to crankbaiting, is this a good option for throwing smaller mussels and lighter crabs around structure while minimising the chances of pulling hooks?

I have a 610ULRS which I mainly use for throwing small cranks for bream on my local Gold Coast canals. I have also used it a times for stick minnows due to its soft forgiving nature. You could use it for small mussels and light crabs but the rougher and rockier terrrain where you are often throwing these might see you a little undergunned. If you wanted a more alround rod I'd recommend the 702LFS or 712LFS.
