I think the 5000 may balance better with the rod, though if you need the extra spool capacity the 6000 would be the better choice.
should i go with the 5000 or 6000 size reel
im looking for a reel, whether 5000, or 6000, to pair up with a rod along the lines of 25 SALTIGA LC S75-3/4 or similar specs. it would be used for both reef and shore fishing and be most likely equiped with PE4 line. fish species would most likely range from smaller-medium GT, reef species, pelagics, and various species similar. i would be throwing mostly soft plastics ranging between that 5 to 10 inches, as well as medium sized divers, poppers, and stickbaits. any advice or information to help make this choice easier would be very helpful. thank you :).
