Better casting distance using small lures from rock/shore for tailor, herring, small reef fish
Hi I am wondering if a seabass 962ML might be appropriate for me to achieve better casting distance. I am often catching small queenies, trevally and reef fish up north and tailor, herring, salmon down south - fishing mainly off rocky flats, rocks and less often sandy beaches. I use small lures up to 35g. Have a 1-4g light set up, a TDhyper762MHFS with a 2500DTDblack, and a TDsaltwaterS80-3 with an exceller 4000C runnnig 30lb braid that I mainly use off the rocks. However I sometimes struggle to cast distances especially from the beach / in wind. I am quite a slight person so don't like heavy feeling rods.
I wondered if you think a seabass 962ML would be appropriate for me and whether it would helpful to achieve better casting distances. If so do you think I could pair it with my exceller 4000C?

I think that's a great idea and would be a great option to give you more casting distance. The 4000 Exceler would be a perfect match.
