I'd connect the PE straight to the spool. If you tie it on well and make sure it doesn't slip or spin on the spool you'll be ok.
Should I start the line with mono before braid or will the bg4500 be OK going strstraihht to braid
Just bought the bg4500 and noticed it has a little rubber ring on the spool and wondering if this means I don't have to worry about winding mono on before braid
