If you're after a rod to do both I'd suggest a fast taper rod, the 722ULRS is a regular taper rod (that's what the R in the rod name means) and is best used for trebled lures such as crankbaits.
would the 722ULRS work for soft plastics
im looking for a rod that can be used for hard bodies and soft plastics
