Its cast weight is very much dictated by the upper section and tip of the rod. Some rods have a light nimble tip that then allow it to cast a lighter weight.
Hi, I’m just wondering why some of the rods with heavier line rating can cast lighter weights
Wicked weasel which is 2-6 grams can cast down to two grams whereas the Td black tang is 2-5 kg but casts down to 5 grams
