The handle spindle has longer thread (10.5 turns) on right side of the reel than the left (2.5 turns). I'm assuming this isn't an Australian specification (where majority of anglers prefer to wind with the right hand) and that it secure enough to fit the handle on the left even though there is significantly less thread to engage with the handle?
