3/4 oz to 1oz would be my upper limit. If you go heavier than that you're generally going to be use a heavier rod and a big reel would be better suited to the rod.
Hi, What would the maximum cast weight be? I'm hoping to cast 30 or 40g but would like to run a 100 size reel. thx
