What are the differences between all the Esmeralda’s reels

I was having a look at all the different models of the Esmeralda's reels over the recent yrs and was wondering why some of the older models are more expensive than the newer ones?

Essentially the more expensive models are made from lighter and more expensive materials (e.g. Zaion body) and feature more advanced technologies (e.g. Magsealed Line Roller). The new models however generally feature new technologies (e.g Airdrive Design) and offer excellent performance and value.
