I'd expect that you'd get approx 270m of PE 1.7 on the 3000. On a spin reel you don't want to fill it to the very top of the lip. You want it under. If you put too much on you'll soon find because you'll have unwanted loops of line coming off. If this happens just strip a bit more line off and trim it off.
