If the safety of the rods can't be assured I'd pack them in a rod sock, or break them down into their pieces and store in their bag safely in the car.
Any suggestions on how to store these butt end rods like the 702ULFS when travelling by car?
Do you have any recommended products to keep these light rods protected?
