Yes that would be a good step up from your lighter outfit.
would the 701MLFS be good for trout, carp, flathead, salmon, yellas and bream? i already have a pretty light set up
I'm looking for something light but a tiny bit heavier than my current light rod with a 2000 reel. that I can use in salt and freshwater and flick and troll lures with of the bank and in the kayak. probably to go will a 2500 reel and maybe 6 or 8lb braid
