i plan on using this to catch things like flathead and snapper and some freshwater species. what rod, reel, line

should i use something like a 23 kix or td black 3000 or 4000, what pound braid should i use, and what rod specs should i look for.(i do also plan on using the 5 and 7 inch jerkshad on this set up too)

For your flathead you'll want to look for a medium-light (e.g. 23 TD BLACK WICKED WEASEL 702MLFS) to medium (e.g. 23 TD BLACK SHAKE'N'BAKE II 702MXS) powered rod matched to a 3000 size reel, while for your snapper a medium to medium-heavy (e.g. 23 TD BLACK HUMPHEAD 742MHFS) power rod matched to a 3000 or 4000 reel will be ideal. Line wise 10-20lb is ideal for flathead and snapper 20-30lb is the sweet spot.
