It was me I wouldn't be throwing heavier than a 1/2oz or 5/8oz lure. The reality is that you'll more than likely have it on a rod that isn't suited for lures of that weight as it's more designed for light lures. An ultra light to medium/light rod is the best match for the Tatula 70.
