Would the 5000D 23 Kix handle mackerel and tuna of a jetty with PE 1.2 Saltiga 12 EX on it
And how much line would I roughly get with mono backing of a similar poundage to the braid obviously diameter matters but just roughly also would the 4000D 24 TD black also be a viable option or too small a spool?

It would be a great reel for that style of fishing. The 5000D will hold 300m of PE2.5, and I would expect it would hold around double that of of PE1.2. The 4000D holds 300m of PE2 and I would expect it hold 450m plus of PE1.2.
