Would I be better off getting the Sparrow or Fasthawk for specific light soft plastics fishing.
I need a rod for soft plastic fishing using a range of jig heads 1/12-1/4. I can’t decide if I go the fasthawk or sparrow. I felt the fasthawk and noticed it was extremely stiff and I didn’t think it would be good for when I need to fast hop plastics for pelagics like small GT. Is it possible you could please explain the main difference between both of those models and which you would recommend I get for specific soft plastic fishing

The Sparrow is a lovely finesse rod for plastic but is more suitable for close casting due to being sub 7 foot long. The Fasthawk I believe would be more suitable if looking for a longer casting rod and a faster tapered rod for hoping plastics. The Sparrow you could consider a hardbody and soft plastic rod, while the Fasthawk is better suited to just plastics. Hope that helps.
