The 23 Infeet S 722LRS is a regular taper rod, while the TD Black Scratch 722LFS is a fast taper rod. As a general guide you use a regular taper rod for cranks and a fast taper for soft plastics. The TD Black also has higher spec guides compared to the Infeet S.
