They are a hard wearing plastic zip designed to last and withstand saltwater.
Sling Bag
This bag looks to be an exact copy of the Rapala Sling Bag. The biggest fault ofthe Rapala one is they used a very fine metal zip system that jammed and got stuck over time. All the zips on mine ceased and when trying to force broke. I have a Diawa back pack thats 10 years old that uses a larger teethed plastic set up. It still performs flawlessly. Please tell me you are using a similar zip system as my backpack, and if so I will be buying one immediately. These sling bags are a fantastic concept.
