That outfit would be fit for purpose for the mulloway and sharks, though a touch on the heavy side for salmon.

trying to find a good rod to pair with the reel wondering of the 1202xh would be a good fit. it would be used for surf fishing for salmon and mulloway but would the 12' also be able to handle bigger things such as rays and small sharks or would a shorter rod be better for that.
