The two reels are very similar. A difference in ratio effects how much line is retrieved with every crank of the handle. As a generally rule we prefer a slower ratio for crankbait fishing and a higher ratio when fishing stop start presentations such as hoping plastics, topwaters, vibes, etc. For example I would use the 4.8:1 Infeet X 2000S for cranks, and a 5.2:1 or 5.3:1 2000 of 2500 for non-crankbait lures.
