How much 15lb braid it will accommodate depends on the thickness of the 15lb that you will spool it with. J-Braid Expedition in 15lb is PE 1.2, and I would anticipate the 4000D will take approx 350-370m of PE1.2 (official specs are 300m of PE2). Yes the TD Black is braid/PE ready.
