The 23 Saltist range is more an offshore range rather than an estuary range. I would recommend something like the 23 TD Hyper or 23 TD Black series.
Best Saltist for kayak fishing in Sydney lakes and close offshore?
Eg Narrabeen lake (saltwater), Manly NSW sheltered near offshore for bream, flathead mostly.
Or is the 23 Saltist butt too long for yak fishing? If so, any other recommendations?
Mostly using soft plastics, some fresh bait.
Also, for the same purpose as above, is a Saltist mq 4000 / 23 Saltist 6'4" a good combo?
