The 2500 size is where many of the ranges change the (Knob) to the a T (Knob) rather than an I (Knob) . It is possible to replace it to an I (Knob) if you do like to. I do understand your frustration though.
Why is Daiwa putting T handles on so many of the 2500 size reels?
It's becoming very limiting for people who like the I handle like on the 2000 size reels.
