My suggestion is to film it with your phone and drop us an email at the service department. They will be able to assist with the noise and let you know if it's normal. Their email is service@daiwaaustralia.com.au
Is it normal for my Daiwa BG MQ 10000-H to make noise when I spin it with no line, and it's brand new 20 BG MQ Spin Reel
It's make noise when I spin it fast, I can't really describe the noise but it's like it's scrapping or making a zzzzzzzzz sound, but not clicking or anything like that.
