My recommendation would be the TD Zero 742LXS (RRP- $349). The next step up in level for the style of rod that you're looking for would be in the Infeet Ex 702LFS (RRP- $549).

Looking for an upgrade from a TD 20 Black Grub’ N budget around 400 for the rod and 500 for the reel. Looking for a light setup for trevaly, flatly and queenies
