I would recommend one of the medium/heavy and heavier rods and choose the rod that best matches the length you need and the weight of the lures/baits that you will be fishing. These specs are found in the spec table.
Hello, What rod is best balanced with the Diawa BG 5000 reel?
I want to use it for off shore for topwater as well as bottom fishing.
