I would suggest a seven foot ultra light or light rod from one of our light tackle ranges such as, TD Zero, TD Black, or TD Hyper. A seven foot or longer rod will maximise your casting distance and select the power (ultra light or light) of the rod to match the size of the fish that you're likely to catch and the weight of the baits that you're using.
