You're spot on. Also the 742 is regular action meaning it's more suited to crankbaits and trebled lures, while the 702LFS is a fast taper and is more suited to plastics and single hook presentations.
Infeet EX for light and unweighted plastics
I fish from a kayak and plan to buy the Infeet EX model to throw light weight and unweighted soft plastics around pontoons, boats and jetties. I was planning on getting the 742LRS but wonder if the 702LFS might be better suited being 10cm shorter. What are your thoughts? I already have a couple of TD Black rods Black Jack and Wicked Weasel.
