My advice would be to not break down an outfit by season, but rather by technique and the lures you're going to use. If you're looking for a spin out for fishing soft plastics, topwaters, etc, a 2-3kg (Light or Medium light) 6'9" to 7'3" would be my recommendation. While if you're looking for a baitcaster to throw spinnerbaits, jigs, topwaters, cranks, a 3-5kg (Medium light, Medium, or Medium heavy) 6'4" to 7'2" rod is the way to go.
